Top view.. Palace in the Sky

And this is my first posting about the beautiful places that I've been through in my own country.

This day, I visited the City of Tagaytay (Filipino: Lungsod ng Tagaytay) is a second class city in the province of Cavite, Philippines.The city is a popular summer tourist destination because of its cool climate due to its high altitude. One of the unforgetable place that I've went through is"PEOPLES IN THE SKY" to be more particular, with Ms. Ruby. Just a brief history: Former President Ferdinand Marcos and his wife Imedla Marcos started building the Palace in the Sky, for the purpose of reciveing President Ronald Regan and his First Lady. But the visit was cancelled due to the problems that Marcos faced at the time and the palace was never finished. Today, the place has been renamed to People's Park In the Sky and unfortunately the Palace remains unfinished.

What Palace in the Sky means to me. As I imagine it a week before I decided to visit it, I am thinking of a white castle. A palace where in Kings, and royal emperors live. But as I joyfully walk through up in the mountain. I take a deep breath and I am still thinking about my expectations. Then to my surprise, I haven't seen a white castle in that place then, Why is this called Palace in the sky? The city of Tagaytay is a tourist  attraction for local and foreign visitors. It is a vantage point of Taal Lake and Volcano. Tagaytay also offers a view of Taal Lake - a lake within an island within a lake. You could see it from the top of the mountain. Is that amazing to know? and mysterious to explore?


 As I raise my hands up in the sky I really felt that as if I own the place, that I am the only Princess in that place as I watch the beautiful views from the top. It was a breathtaking experience for me. I have  seen it with my both eyes, the fog, the big rocks, the green grass. whoa!Amazing! I experience relaxation from inside and out as we felt the heavy rains poured out from that place with the cold wild blowing. I just can't imagine that I sing praises to God as I've seen the wonders of His creation, it is extravagant, you would really experience the feeling of floating in the air because of the height of the mountain. Now I understand why it is called Palace in the Sky.. And my next plan is to have a boat riding inside the crater!of TAAL VOLCANO hihi ^_^ much more challenging for me. And I would try the zipline located at the Picnic grove, & also horse riding and I wish to visit Sonya's Garden. Hmm.. Can't wait to visit TAGAYTAY again. Bus from Baclaran terminal -60 php (Dasma Cavite, Alfonso, etc. to drop point to Olivares)
Jeep from Olivares to Peoples Park - 16php
Peoples Park Entrance - 15 Php

from entrance if you don't want to walk, up to the mountain there is a jeep there you just need to pay Php5.00 for a ride!
